Events Schedule for the Museum Monday, September 22^th at 7 PM – Volunteer and Member Equinox celebration. There will be a cook out and bonfire on the beach at 332 East Gorrie Drive on St. George Island. This is also the retirement celebration of Captain Roger Shepherd. Live entertainment to be provided. Friday, September 26^th at 7 PM – Start of River Trip 2008 celebration. There will be a cook out on the grounds at the Chattahoochee, FL riverboat landing site. There will be live entertainment, food and a good opportunity to socialize with the operations managers and participants of the first river paddle trip. Saturday, October 4^th at 7 PM – End of Trip Luau for the first River Trip 2008. There will be a Luau style cook out and bonfire on the beach at 332 East Gorrie Drive on St. George Island. This will include an awards ceremony. Saturday, October 18^th at 7 PM – End of Trip Luau for the second River Trip 2008. There will be a Luau style cook out and bonfire on the beach at 332 East Gorrie Drive on St. George Island. This will include an awards ceremony. Saturday, November 1^st at 7 PM – End of Trip Luau for the third River Trip 2008. There will be a Luau style cook out and bonfire on the beach at 332 East Gorrie Drive on St. George Island.
