Apala-ch-attahoochee Blueway Trail “Apala-ch-attahoochee” …. Perhaps no one word better describes the concept of the river system as one contiguous basin to be shared by all. Perhaps long ago, it was one .. and perhaps now we can make it one again. Bringing together all the people who rely upon her waters to share a common vision of stewardship of entire basin. The grand vision of the river trail that runs from Chattahoochee Gap on the Appalachian Trail from which this great river emerges all the way down into the blue waters of the Gulf will emerge with our first full length trips to be run in 2009. You will be able to sign up for the entire trip from the ridge trail to the Gulf or one of five week long segments.
